today my host family brought me to visit their families. On the way to their grandparents' house, we stopped by a fish market and bought a few fish for dinner. (Joeun)
We went to Mungyeog to see the veiws that it has. There is a long scenic trail with buildings based off the Joseon Period, we started at Juheulgwan gateway and followed the path along the river to see structures such as Mungyeongsaejae open set and Gyogwijeong Pavilion. yesterday we went to 진주 where we rented 한복 and took photos before looking in the markets (Ceegan) We went to 칠불사 and stayed overnight. We had tea with the monks from the temple and drank the mountain water. I tried to befriend the many cats living in the temple. We had to get up very early in the morning for breakfast :( though it was very delicious! (Amber) The first is a picture of the sunrise I saw from the bus on the way to Seoul. I was very tired but the view was too pretty to ignore. The bus left at 6am and this photo was taken shortly after. The second photo is from outside Jinju castle during the lantern festival. It was a lot of fun to walk around and see lanterns and learn a bit of Jinju history. I especially liked the proverb lanterns. I tried a fortune game and was given free postcards for being the first foreigner to try 😂 (Tilly) 안녕하세요 선생님, today we went to the movies to watch a movie called the hit man's body guard and it was really funny 😂 Before the movie we went to the arcade and played games and I won a KakaoTalk Ryan plushy!! 😆 After the movie we went to Lotte Premium Outlet shopping centre and had lunch.
