Well, it finally can around. New Year's Eve 2016 and we got up at sparrow's, met at Adelaide International at 6:15, received some unusually excellent service from Malaysian Airlines and poured ourselves into the first leg of the journey at 9:30am. Arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 2:30pm we were faced with the prospect of a 13.5 hour layover. Malaysian had cancelled the KL-Seoul leg of our trip and placed us on the next flight. Chin up! We rented some taxi vans and made our way to the Sun Way Pyramid Absolutely Everything Centre (not it's real name) and proceeded to see what the SunWay corporation had to offer. All in all we had a reasonable time, but it was a long time. We were pretty happy to get back to the airport, group up and find that our flight had been delayed until 4am (less happy about the last bit). Long story short, we escaped customs in Seoul at midday (Sunday) and schlepped our weary carcasses into our homestays for a well deserved rest, arising to meet at 5pm for a quick tour of Gangman and some Budejjige (army stew). Onward with the study today! :)
